Mr and Mrs Bell have been customers of ours for over 10 years now. Their first home features on our case studies page where you can read all about their initial experience with our company and the improvements our products made to their home. This case study is on their new spectacular home in Harrogate.
It’s not every day that houses like this come up for sale. This turn of the century property boasts quirky styling and certain deco features. Over the years it has been extended and added to and later became a care home.
Mr and Mrs Bell fell in love with the building, seeing the potential of what could be. Although it’s not in a conservation area, they were keen to choose timber to replace the windows “We felt plastic would devalue the house and the cost saving wasn’t enough to warrant it” says Mr Bell.
After paying close attention to similar properties in the area, Mr and Mrs Bell opted for flush casement windows (the same as we installed in their previous home), finished in white with a ‘T-Bar’ glazing design which adds detail without entirely obstructing the view. The entrance doors are finished in Anthracite and fitted with chrome Samuel Heath architectural hardware.
The installation of 26 windows and 4 doors was carefully timed with other work that was taking place around the property, Mr Bell comments “The fitting was very quick and extremely efficient considering the scale of the project”.

“We worked closely with Timber Windows again to get the right spec. They tailored options to achieve what we wanted at a budget to suit the project”
