The Rudderford family now have a striking new entrance door to create a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the busy arterial road outside their home, close to Manchester city centre.
Though their home is relatively new, at only twenty years old, it sits within a conservation area and therefore it was important for the family to maintain the period character of other buildings and houses in the area. Mr and Mrs Rudderford explain, “We wanted a statement piece…we tried to choose a colour reflective of city properties and the local architecture…”
The couple requested a stunning tailored Kingston door, featuring toplights and sidelights, sandblasted glass details and polished chrome ironmongery from Samuel Heath.
Now, with its bold, eye-catching colour, the family’s new front door has added maximum kerb appeal and personality to their home. As well, the door’s new sandblasted glazing is a stylish yet practical design choice to allow more light into the home whilst maintaining privacy. Combined, this new door is envied by neighbours and visitors alike.
Commenting on our service, Mr and Mrs Rudderford said, “The showroom team were great, happy to accommodate everything we required – it was installed on the agreed schedule and was all very painless”.
