Mr and Mrs Ruskin’s rural Cheshire home has received pleasant makeover from our Timber Windows team. In total, our team replaced around 35 windows and doors covering the whole house in place of what Mrs Ruskin described as “…horrible old windows”.
Though the couple have been living in the house for 12 years, Mrs Ruskin has always known “…that the windows and doors would need to be renewed, and since then we’ve been working on renovating the whole house”.
After their initial visit to our Cheshire showroom, Mr and Mrs Ruskin decided on Cottage casement windows, French doors, and a brand-new entrance door for their home. All of the products were specifically chosen in a classic, timeless shade of ‘White’ externally, featuring fine 18mm astragal bar designs. For the internal design, Mr and Mrs Ruskin emphasised they wanted the windows to match the existing wall colours to create a seamless blend and create an atmospheric room scheme.
Though the scale of the job was reasonably big, the couple were impressed by our team’s quick turnaround. Mr and Mrs Ruskin commented, “For a relatively sizeable job, the fitting team were only here for five days – it was very efficient”.
Having lived with their new windows and doors for a few months now, Mr and Mrs Ruskin aren’t just seeing the aesthetic benefits of their refurbishment, but heating benefits too. Mrs Ruskin explains, “This has always been quite a cold house, but we have noticed a marked difference in how much warmer the house is”.
Overall, Mr and Mrs Ruskin were incredibly happy with the work carried out by Timber Windows.
