When Mrs Pocock approached us for our services, she was vocal of the things that frustrated her about her homes current look and feel. “Our old windows were white wood, rotten, single glazed and let in horrific draughts”.
It was clear to us that Mrs Pocock felt defeated by her current homes design, so it was our top priority to find a solution to her issues. Cottage flush casements, entrance doors and a stable door were fitted in her home. To create a cohesive design, all windows and doors were finished in French Grey with 18mm astragal bars and antique black ironmongery.
Mrs Pocock praised all of the work that had undergone, explaining “We love the French Grey finish; we were very set on that from the outset as it fits nicely with the cottage style.” and “Replacing the regular kitchen door with a stable door was one of our favourite things; we love it, and it’s a nice feature to get light and air inside without having the door wide open.”.
Not only were we able to transform Mrs Pocock’s home into something she could be proud of, but her new design created maximum kerb appeal amongst her neighbours too. Mrs Pocock explains “a neighbour saw them being installed and is also having theirs changed by Timber Windows now.”
