A happy customer returns
For significant work on much loved homes, recommendations and word of mouth are extremely important but the ultimate compliment for the quality of the work we do is when a previous customer moves house and returns to us, as was the case for Mr & Mrs OʼConnor in their new Harrogate home, “weʼd used Timber Windows for our previous house in Leeds; we were very happy with everything there so when we moved, we didnʼt even look at any other companies or quotes, we came straight back to Timber Windows at Harewood.”

The large rooms with high ceilings meant it was vital to the homeowners to be able to retain heat whilst also getting good levels of daylight.
“From a heat insulation and security perspective it was important to get the majority of the windows and doors changed – the old front door didnʼt even have a key and the French doors were impractically tall without toplights, had big gaps and barely opened.”
Entrance doors, French doors and stable doors were all ordered in a contemporary shade of ʻLondon Greyʼ to contrast with the twenty fi ve sash windows in ʻOff Whiteʼ.
“We love homes with features and character; this has been a massive project and a somewhat daunting prospect. Thereʼs more work to do in the house and weʼll return for more windows as these areas of the house are covered.”
